The project involves the renovation of three existing Over-the-Rhine buildings into eight condominiums, one single-family home, and a commercial space. |
|Design: ||Historic buildings throughout Over-the-Rhine tend to be very subdivided, having originally been set up as tenement housing. In this project, we attempted to open up the interiors of the buildings both in plan and section to create brighter, more dynamic spaces. Through careful integration of new structure and old, we were able to create two and three story openings that helped to bring light into the various parts of the buildings.|
|Role: ||My roles included Field Measuring of the existing buildings, Design Development and Construction Documents, as well as Construction Administration.
