The project is the renovation of our residence, a historic townhouse in the Prospect Hill Historic District. To date, the renovation has consisted of the conversion of unusable interior space into a 3rd floor roof deck, an interior bathroom remodel, and various other side improvements.

Design: | Former unusable space was converted into an outdoor deck area with downtown city views. We removed a portion of the historic roof and reworked several structural elements, while leaving (and reinforcing) the historic cornice. This allowed us to essentially 'carve-out' the deck from the 3rd floor space. We clad the walls with a rainscreen construction using Extira panels, and provided a Cumaru hardwood deck.
