Christ Church Glendale
Scope:   The project consisted of a 15,000 sf addition to a historic church complex in Glendale, OH. The project replaced an existing deteriorated addition by the architect Woodie Garber. The new structure includes a 175 seat chapel, fellowship hall, offices, classrooms, meeting rooms and a library.

Design:  The design intent was to provide a facility that was compatible with the existing campus, but did not attempt to mimic the historic construction. Masonry type and bonding was carefully chosen so that it would not detract from the existing buildings. And throughout the project, spaces and glazing were organized so as to constantly provide views back to the original buildings.
Role:  As part of the design team, I worked extensively on SD, DD and CD's. During construction I was responsible for the office's Construction Administration, including site meetings, review of shop drawings, schedule and pay applications.
